A classic tart flavored with guavaberry fruit which is harvested around the holidays to make the guava berry liqueur a Virgin Islands favorite. The fruit is mixed with sugar, rum, spices, cinnamon and a few other ingredients.
Traditionally its stored a year in advance to get cured.
